Liverpool
Really disappointed. But no matter what, You'll Never Walk Alone. It's been more than six years since I supported Liverpool. Others (like brother) had given up in you, but no, Liverpool Football Club will always be my one and only supported football club. <3
It's true that Rafa had successful seasons when he just came, bringing Liverpool's fifth European Cup, FA Cup, second Champions League final and EPL (no, it's BPL now =X) runner-up last season. I'm still supportive of him, despite the disappointments this season. But, if he can't deliver, I guess, it's time.
20 years already.. Just how long more is the wait for Liverpool to be crowned EPL champions again?
Exam results
Results released on the 19th and I actually slept till 12pm before I checked the SMS. Reason being, I'm afraid I might fail my expectations. lolx. =X Anyway, I'm shocked. Yea, really shocked. The module which I disappoint myself so much, DSS, actually got me an A! Wow, my first "A" in NP! =D I know I must've gotten full marks for my final paper right? =X But even so, that still can't explain how this A came about due to my overlook in PBL 1. Another surprise was Business Law. Heh. However, I didn't managed to get an A for my favourite module, Macroeconomics. =( Nevertheless, I'm really satisfied with my overall results this semester. =)
Pei Er
Pei Er just reminded that day. She was asking if that "injured swan" which I blogged about the other day refers to her. It's so obvious, ain't it? LOL. =X Okay, Pei Er wants me explain why I called her that, because she was saying that this is a nice name given that people might think she's pitiful. LOL. Oops. =X Anyway, it's really obvious okay. As she's named Pei Er (literally swan) and always got "shot" by me, of course, won't she become an injured swan?
*emphasise* Hey, saw it? I really emphasised this. =P
Anyway, I feel so honoured. =X Pei Er phoned me the other day and asked me to help her check grammatical error for her assignment. Hopefully I'm of some help. >.< Actually upon reading her assignment, I realised her English is very good. Don't understand why she asks me for help. Humph. And I think I must've really stressed her when I came up with so many questions. lolx. Just so you know, this would really help with my editing. Afterall, one should have some knowledge of what the essay is about before editing, right? But really sorry, lolx. And all the best for your upcoming exams! =D
Now this swan is facing the same problem as I was the other time - extention of time in a day. lolx. Way to go girl!
Evil swan!! Want "web-cam-eat" with me last night! Humph! But Pei Er, I don't eat supper. Fat, you understand?
FAT!
Oh, and while we're at this.. I came upon something recently. And actually, sometimes, simplicity is enough to convey your thoughts. There's really no need for such complexed terms.
Facebook
Can I say I'm out of touch with the world? I guess I'm one out of a thousand who doesn't have a Facebook account. Even my 12-year-old cousin has one. Friends had been asking me to sign-up for Facebook. And I also promised Joe that I'll add him after I've created an account. But seriously, I don't know if I'll really sign up for one. Because...
Photocopier
The photocopier repairman brought our photocopy machine back the other day. He taught me some ways to keep the photocopy machine in good condition. He showed me the ways once and asks if I understood. I told him yes, and guess what? He said, "you're so clever". Mum at that point in time said to me, he must've thought I'm 12-year-old (-_-"), which explains his reaction. True enough, when I sent the repairman out, he asks which secondary level am I in. ._.
And that brought me to something else. I met up and sold my un-used
game card to someone. And he too, said I don't look like a polytechnic student. lolx.
Actually I really don't know if I should joy or what. But that injured swan suddenly told me the other day that, "I just realised I'm the youngest among the four of us." RAWRR~~ That's indirectly telling me that I'm the oldest,
lah. You wait, okay? You this TPE - Tampines Expressway ; Tan Pei Er (Ngor)! I'll bring lots of arrows out the next time we meet, which is oh-so-fast - Thursday. =D
A song
Recently there's always this advertisement on television that played a song. And I was like.. so.. =\

Have got back all results for the common test. Quite satisfied with all my results, though could be done better. I feel like I'm really falling in love with macroeconomics. Rather irony, I thought. I did so badly for microeconomics last semester, but how could I just love macroeconomics so much? Well, macroeconomics is just too.. how should I put it? Hmm, it's like quite "linked" to our daily lives. Probably that's the reason why I could adapt well to this module.
Referring back to the quotes which I've posted..
Well, have I done it? I guess I did. =)
Thanks, else I wouldn't have done so well.Labels: Exam results, Quotes

I'm so shagged man. I didn't really study for Taxation last night as I had fell asleep while revising. Luckily, I had told brother to check on me before he sleep. Else, I'd get a scolding from mum for wasting electricity. ~.~ And this morning, I was dragging my feet yet again.
Damn shagged. Plus the nice weather made me feel like staying put on my cosy bed. And I had just missed 334 by a minute as I had to take medicine. Thankfully, the next 334 came within 6 minutes time. But I don't like that bus captain
lah. He's driving so slow can. RAWR.
First lesson was Accounting. Accounting teacher's really good to us. Knowing that we're having our Taxation CA after her lesson, she kindly cancelled lesson to let us revise. I'm so glad she did this, else I doubt I could finish my revision. So this is how I spent the two hours - revision in the first hour; 15 minutes of PSP to relieve stress; day-dreaming for the rest of the time. lolx.
After the CA, TG told me what-I-considered a joke. He told me that he saw me amending my answer, so he went to amend his as well. LOL! Pardon me, but the thought of this just makes me laugh. He's so funny
lah. What has me amending my answer got to do with him? I think he told me that he saw me amending my answer for the last question, which I didn't. I was actually amending my answer for the question on "appeal". lolx.
Then we went to look for our CA-cum-Costing teacher for our Costing results. Oh man, you know how disappointed I was? I know everyone will say, "isn't this result good enough? At least you got an A." But just because I know where I went wrong, that's why I couldn't stop blaming myself. And like Mabel (I think so) said, people who got this kind of result tend to think and feel... (I got what she meant, but I can't put it in words ~.~) Just a word to conclude this - sighs.
Anyways, I'm glad that CA1 is over at last.
Oh by the way, Cruz had mentioned about him going on a holiday. So that means I won't get to hear his voice for the whole of next week? No, no please! I'll miss him man. T_T
28 May 2008I didn't know about the Hall of Fame thingy until YL told me. So yup, we went to have a look at it after break. Saw my name up there. And I thought it was only for GPA 4, until I saw my name in another list. Guess what, I topped Intermediate Accounting module last semester! That was so unexpected, you know. It's always like that, you see. Things always happen when you least expect them. I had thought I could topped Accounting Fundamentals, but I didn't. I didn't thought, much less expect myself to topped Intermediate Accounting, but I did. But anyway, this would definitely serve as a motivation for me. And I hope this is a good start for me.
Mum's so sweet. Knowing that I need to get medicine from the clinic, she went on my behalf, though she didn't managed to get it eventually as the doctor wasn't around. x33
27 May 2008Had boarded my favourite bus to the interchange in the morning. That was the first time since school reopens. And surely, that brightens up my day. Hahs.
I think nothing much happened today, except that we got back our Accounting paper. Teacher sure is fast. Hahas. Was shocked when teacher mentioned about it, as I couldn't understand some parts of second question. So I thought I would lose out on a few marks.
26 May 2008Mr Tang was our invigilator for Accounting CA. He must've read my mind man. Hahas. Because we were told to separate our tables. We did. And he came over and said, there can have one more table at the back. And so, the love-sitting-at-the-back person (which is, me) very willingly volunteers to shift back. lolx.
And before he came in, Pei Er told me what I considered to be the biggest joke of my life. ~.~
Went Junction 8 after school. Saw Pei Er entering LaserFair (I think so), so we went in as well. I think Cynthia and Wei Ming were discussing something about
my Raymond Lam. =X I went to have a look at the Cantonese albums and was amazed at the number of Cantonese albums they had. I didn't know Alex Fong had released a new album. I had wanted to buy actually. Sigh. Then I saw other albums from Raymond Lam, Patrick Tang, Hins Cheung and some others. There's no sight of Stephy Tang's though.
<>_<
>Well, will save up money to get the albums in Hong Kong.
Oh, and I think this is the day when Pei Er told YL to take THAT photo? =\
25 May 2008It's the day. Liverpool had won their fifth Champions League 3 years ago, on 25 May 2005.
Earlier in the day, aunt had told me that she'll go Hong Kong with me during my holidays since there won't be any temporary market during the renovation period. She'll sponsor my air ticket. Yay! Now I can start saving up for my spree. =D Ah wait, my source of income will be gone soon. I must really scrimp and save now since I'll be jobless for the next half year at least. =S In addition to this, will be moving to next house soon. At last, I'm free from housework. Can sit back and relax already. Hahs. The very first thing I'll do is to regenerate (wrong usage of word?) my hands. =\
Wow, this is sucha long post. Well, now I know I shouldn't delay my entry in the future.

Let's rewind~
MondayWent BBDC to apply for my PDL, like finally. lolx. Should have applied for PDL last month, but March was like totally activity-packed for me. So yeah. Oh wait, actually, I should have gotten my PDL two years back! =X
After applying, I went West Mall, hoping to find The Body Shop to get the pimple healing thingy. I didn't know that there's no TBS outlet in West Mall, so I continued my way upstiars. A lil regret actually. Because, as I mentioned earlier, I had wanted to get the pimple thingy, which costs like $14.90? But I ended up spending almost $50, or $75, if including the PDL payment. T_T
TuesdayI had my long-awaited first practical lesson! And frankly speaking, my first lesson was
DISASTROUS! (yeah, in my opinion) lolx~ Period.
TodayHad my second practical lesson in the morning. Still couldn't get the hang of it. It's already the second lesson, yet I had only just completed the third subject. Aiks. I'm just so stupid, you see? I tend to learn things real slowly. =(
Was supposed to go for my third lesson tomorrow. But a sentence from the instructor made me think twice. He said, "wah, you come for lesson everyday?" And so, I cancelled my booking for tomorrow. I thought this might be a good time for me to go for practical, since it's still school holiday now. Plus,
I've wasted enough time. Then again, perhaps I shouldn't book consecutive days. I should at least give myself a day or two's time to abosorb what was taught, isn't it?
Exam results were released today. And I'm just so glad that it exceeds my expectations. I was exceptionally surprised and shocked at my result for Business Communications. Seriously, I was expecting a "C" to appear beside this module. But to my amazement, it was an "A"! Can you imagine how shock I was, at that point in time?
All in all, my worries in the beginning of the second semester had proved to be unfounded. =X

Had my haircut today. This was the third time of the year, as compared to previous ones where I visited the hair salon only once a year or two. Haha~ Next haircut will most probably be somewhere near Chinese New Year, I guess. =)
Hmm.. well, there's nothing much to blog about today. I'm just so looking forward to tomorrow, where I'll be getting my results. I'm so scared. T_T Bless me please~
And I seriously need lessons to improve on my
sucky English. Argh!

Whew~ Another month has passed, and I'm already on my 9th month of blogging. That's amazing (to me) eh. =D It'll be October in a few days' time. And results will be released at last. That'll be on Wednesday. I'm so excited, and nervous at the same time. =\ *Pray*
Speaking of this, I remembered chatting about my future with brother's girlfriend yesterday. She's waiting for me to enter
University together. Think so highly of me eh? =X I shall not let her down then. I must start working hard now and work towards my
childhood dream. To get into a polytechnic, that is.
Wei, you must motivate me
hor Otherwise, I'm really afraid I might just give up. =X
Will be booking for final theory lesson right after this entry. It's like finally. lolx. Hopefully I can manage to get slots for next week.
Well, today's entries are "quite" long. Shall end here then.
I can do it. Can I? Yes, I can! =XLabels: Driving, Exam results
