First lesson of the semester - Life Sciences Revolution. Lesson was fun and teacher's quite friendly. I love what I chose, lol. Part of the reason for choosing this module is because I'm quite into DNA. Actually no one knows about this, but after failing my DAE for Banking & Financial Services during the first year, I applied through DAE the following year again, but this time it's the life sciences course. So yep, other than accountancy, I'm rather interested in life sciences as well. And what a coincidence that, it's the second time that I'm with the same class as my former IQG classmate, Irah, again.
Guess what, first thing I did when I reached school was, to visit the library. Heh. Hardworking, ain't it? =D Okay
la, actually I'm looking for my Mitch Albom. Searched on OPAC that "Have a Little Faith" is available and I'm really happy can! But when I went to look for it, it wasn't on the shelve. Went back to look for it after lesson, but it still wasn't there. Really disappointed. =(
Actually the reason why I insist on reading this book is because of its title. I didn't read the synopsis or anything. Just the title - it captures my eyes. I first found out about this book through the mailer sent by Popular last month. That was the period when I thought everything's alright and I'm recovering well, yet I'm having those flashbacks suddenly. And having seen this book, I thought, this might help somehow. However, I'm having second thoughts on buying it due to the price despite having 20% off.
Then, I went NLB's website to search for this book. And it shows a full list of libraries which has this book. The first on the list was that "A.." place. And I was totally.. you know. Searched for Jurong Regional Library and below it was Jurong West Library. Goodness can.. That just make things worst. =\ Anyway, bottomline is, all the places I could thought of, all has this book on loan already. =\
I so wanna read Mitch Albom's books! Because I find that his books are really meaningful. And hopefully, his books can really inspire me. Nevermind, be patient. =X
Oh, speaking of school.. I guess I'm really stupid enough to only realised there's this "fast/economical printing" function until yesterday. It's like, after printing notes for a year. -_-"
Anyway, I think I'm getting clever-er, somehow. I managed to find out how to set custom ringtone for iPhone. =D But sad thing is, I can only use the default message tones unless I jailbreak. =\ Seriously, I'd rather it's the opposite - changing message tones rather than ringtone - since I SMS most of the time. So now, unless I'm using my computer, I can't sense if there's any SMS despite having vibration. Anyways, I realised alarm tone can be changed too. Heh. Thank goodness, else I'm really afraid I won't be able to hear my alarm during school days.
Oh by the way, welcome Raymond Lam my ❤ back to my playlist! =D
Actually, I still dread seeing/hearing the place "AMK".Labels: Books, IQG, Music, Past, School

Woots! Yesterday (25th April) marks my one year in ITE. =) I remember having Mei Bao as my first friend then. And yea, that was a Wednesday, the shortest school day for IQG back then. Well, it took me long enough to settle down. A month, I think? As I've always said, it was really a struggle for me in the initial stage. And I've got two person to thank - 2nd sister-in-law and future (eldest) sister-in-law. I would have given up if it wasn't for them, and living aimlessly yet again. So yea, it's just so great to have them by my side througout that darkest period of my life. x3
I'm just so glad that I've not let them down. Having wasted two years of my life, I've learnt to treasure the time and chance. I know it'll be tougher in year 2. I promise to work even harder. Hopefully, I'll be able to maintain my GPA of 4. If not, 3.8. Meanwhile, I should really stop giving myself too much pressure. I just hope to get in to a Polytechnic. And I mean Accountancy course. I've chosen. It's Singapore Poly.
You may be asking why the hell did I chose Singapore Poly, when Ngee Ann Poly is supposedly the best in business course. Well, I did it all because of it's electives. There's Psychology over there. Oh wait, I just realised that I got mixed up. Boohoo! I've always thought that the school offering foreign languages is SP. I've just checked. It was NP. =\ Arghh, I've changed my mind. =X I so wanna get in to NP now. But wait, Shu Fen told me that it'll take an hour's time to reach NP
if it's fast. It's like not any difference to what I'm going through now. That was hell man. =(
In addition to that, I know Mum would definitely be against my decision of studying in a Polytechnic. Sighs. =(
I'm tired. Good night!

It has been a week since school reopened. Like last semester, I was late right on the second day of school. Hah. BUT, I'm clever this time round not to take taxi to school (too costly
lah). Was late on third day as well. Then I reached school earlier and earlier each day. ._.
I so hate the time-table for this semester
lah. =( Lessons starts at 8am in four out of five days, which means I gotta wake up at 6am.
Sian lor! Grrr..!! Then we'll be sticking our
butt to our chairs for majority of the time,
in THAT torrid isolated classroom. It was hell man. I just couldn't concentrate. Whatsmore, the teachers are strict can! Especially our class advisor! Actually I first seen her when she invigilated our Statistics' exam last semester. And my first impression of her was not bad. But then, on second meeting, I find that she's
horrible. Yea. Sorry, but it's the truth.
Frankly speaking, I'm not one who can work under a strict environment. I'm so gonna do badly this semester I guess. Aiks. Oh, one more thing. As mentioned by Yvonne in her tag board, our new classmates are quite the serious sort, too. We had little or no interaction with them. I would really prefer those peeps from IQH
lah. =( At least we know a few of them.
Sometimes I feel that both Cynthia and I shares the same thoughts. Hahs~ I'm just so glad that Wei Ming's in the same class as I am. At least our class will be more lively with him around. Am I right, Wei Ming? ;)
Hmm, so holidays ended a week ago and guess what? I had only gone for three practical lessons! Hahs! It's due to my busy schedule during holidays plus some personal matters. Of course, it's partially due to my laziness as well. But I promise (myself), I must buck up and get a driving license by September. Because brother's going Australia for a month! Woohoo~!! That means I'll get to drive when he ain't around in Singapore, provided I got my driving license before he leave for Australia. Meanwhile, shall try to motivate myself. I can do it yea?
