A lil side-track from revision.

I kind of miss my first 民歌餐厅 experience which was like two months back, on the last Saturday of June. Had a sudden thought of revisiting there again. Hmm. Guess time will permit me to do so after next Friday. Great relaxation there I'd say; relax your mind while listening to the songs. ^_^ Ahh~ I miss the second batch up on stage. Forgot their names. Needa check out after exams.

Okays. Rest awhile more, then back to revision.

It's the first weekday before the exam starts two weeks later. Haven't got into the mood of revising yet though. This is terrible, really. =\

It's the final exams already; don't wanna take any risk. Argh. Come on, I know I can do it! Jia you!

Anyways, on a side note. It seemed to me that I've been blogging for consecutive days, lol. However, I suppose this won't be the case soon. Well, that's due to past experience. Haa.

Auditing was alright today. Tested on three modules so far, and I must say this is the easiest paper out of all. Auditing is totally theory and I had initially expected the paper to be rather hard. But to my surprise, it actually turns out okay! At least, I didn't get stucked that much and frankly speaking, it was really an easy paper. Could've done quite well if there's sufficient time to prepare. But anyway, it's like a load off my chest after the paper. Was really below my expectations and the most important thing is, I know I've done my best. No regrets. =)

One more paper to go, and I can take a lil break!

Feel that I did not do my best. That was what a stupid mistake that one could make. I SWEAR that I was actually very confident of this paper, until I realised what a stupid mistake I've made. I know how to tackle that problem, and I even went through that part over and over again yesterday. Dammit, I suspected there was problem, yet I didn't even bother to check, and instead slowly went to draw lines. What a stupid fool I was, isn't it?

It's really disappointments after diaappointments. Have I given myself too high expectations?

Back to school on Friday for FIT revision class, afterwhich peer study with cliques.

Did FIT revision papers beforehand, and realised the module's not that hard as I thought. Perhaps the words "tutorial" and "revision" really makes a difference, that is, one is bound to put in alot more effort in revision than in tutorials. Had full concentration for the revision papers and realised the questions are more or less the same. So with that, my confidence level for the module increased gradually. =) And now, what's important is to revise, then practise again.

Met up with MR after the revision class as YL and JL wanted him to help them with Cost Accounting. It's a sad thing that, they didn't approach the "expert" right before them, but rather, approached MR instead. =X Oops, I'm just kidding about the expert thingy, lol. In terms of teaching, MR would definitely be a good choice. Anyway, YL was supposed to clear her doubts with MR, but ended up clearing with me because JL approached him first.

Actually, I didn't know what to ask MR about ; just hoping to listen to their doubts and the solution towards them. I'm glad they arranged this peer study group because by clearing doubts with one, it benefits the other too. That's what happened to me, when YL cleared her doubts in Cost Accounting with me. It just got one thinking about the queries, refreshes the mind, and learn along the way. Anyway, I bombarded MR with questions again, lol. And yea, difficult ones because I always think too deep into these. Hehs. Hope he don't find me a nuisance. =X

While on the way home, both YL and I decided that we should really form a study group starting next semester because that really helps, especially in polytechnic levels where helps from tutors aren't always available, plus tutorial and revision papers just ain't enough. Oh, and on second thought, I decided that I shouldn't "pull" MR over to our class next semester (if we're able to choose timetable) since he'll most probably be the only guy if he comes over. Pathetic plus uncomfortable, you see. =X

And yes, Taxation's revision papers are uploaded, like finally! Lecturer uploaded the venues and you know what? I'm being split from my class ; the only one. -_- The class that I'm with, is MR's class, with majority of the "pros" in it. Like, what the f. The feeling is indescribable.. it's just so stressed. =\ Anyway, good thing is, the class's on the second level, whereas my class's on the third level. One level less to climb. =D

It's gonna be a stressful term full of assignments and projects. =( Good thing is, it's a rather short term of just six weeks due to the Youth Olympic Games. So it's almost two weeks down already. Another four weeks to go and I'm outta these. A month of break before exam starts. I know I'm always "talk only, no action", but I'm so gonna study real hard this time. It's the final chance for me to score well already, because there'll be no more exemption starting next semester. It's gonna be a busy month too, because I've booked four straight practicals per week, lol. Hopefully I'm determined enough to go for all practicals, else at least three per week.

Cost Accounting Common Test was a total crap. The theory, that is. Was basically crapping all the way for theory questions. -_- Hopefully I'll be able to at least score some marks for them. Anyway, the paper aside, the invigilator was darn irritating. The way he spoke was really very g-l. -_- Really can't stand it. And something which he did later on further infuriates me. We're busying doing our test and he just came and check on our calculators. Like, wth. I know that's his job to ensure the students don't cheat, but that's really a disturbance. Well, at least to me. Though only several times, but the moment he's near my area, I just couldn't concentrate. =\ Probably due to the prejudice that I had right from the start. Oh well.

What happened later in the day just made me felt worse. I'm just beginning to fear that place. And I guess I won't be going there anytime soon. Dear will be understanding towards this, right?

Anyways, received elder brother's SMS when I reached home, telling me that he's bought Ben & Jerry's ice-cream for me. Should be he can't find strawberry cheescake, that's why he bought vanila flavour instead. But still, he's so sweet. Hehs! ❤

Presented tutorial for Cost Accounting yesterday and like what I told the tutor, I'm satisfied with what I did, lol. Had a few mistakes though. And I did wrongly for one of the question that I'm unsure of. But when tutor prompted me, I was like "awoke" suddenly and let out an "oh.." sound. lolx. I'm glad that I'm able to comprehend it. As this is the first part of the question, I had to figure out how to do the follow-up question since I did wrongly for the first part. Again, I managed to do the follow-up question and I let out another "oh.." while teacher was trying to show me the ways. And this time, I "oh.." quite loudly, as what Ya Li told me. =\ That was so embarrassing can. =(

Then, when the lesson was about to end, I went to negotiate my attendance with tutor, lolx. I thought it might be difficult but didn't know she's so flexible. Thank goodness. All I did was to promise her that I won't be late again. So ya, hopefully I'll really be able to reach on time in future. And to show my sincerity, I reached school at around 8.30am today oh-kayy.

Oh by the way, it's really shiok, I thought, that there's four consecutives bus 99 yesterday morning on my way to school. I'm actually thinking if I should take bus 99 because both SGNextBus and iris-NextBus showed that bus 185 was arriving. And hence I waited. Waited for quite some time and I'm beginning to be suspicious. Hence checked again, and guess what? The timing shows "18 minutes". Wth. I feel so cheated man. Got cheated by both sources. And that's not the first time already. But thankfully, the suspicion came as the fourth bus 99 was arriving. Else, I'll definitely be late for lesson.

Will be having two papers for Common Test this term, with the final paper on 10th June. Afterwhich, a 2-weeks break awaits. And this means I won't have much time for him again. Next week's probably the last week to enjoy, then gotta start my revision for the Common Test already. Pei Er! Guess we can only meet after my Common Test already.

Last day of school, but no joy just yet because there's still a hurdle to go before the start of a 2-week break.

Common Test's just next week. And I think my drive to study has just been ignited. Now, why do I say so? It's because I was so into the Macroeconomics' lesson today. That was really something which I've not done in any economics lessons so far (or should I say, in Ngee Ann Poly so far?). However, I just haven't got into the mood of revising for Business Law. It's supposed to be my favourite module. =(

Can't really say it's time to enjoy after the Common Tests. Just take a look at the list of things to be done over the meagre holiday period.

1. Business Management proposal (due 22 January 2010)
2. Business Law article (due 14 January 2010)
3. DSS PBL 2 (due 31 January 2010)
4. Life Management Skills Assignment 4 (due 13 January 2010)
5. Business Law tutorial (due 7 January 2010)
6. Macroeconomics tutorial (due 8 January 2010)
7. Business Management tutorial (due 8 January 2010)

None of them has started, except for Business Management. My group is still in a very immature stage, and guess what, we're already stucked. Already stucked at such an early stage, what's more, we're to write up a 11-15 pages proposal. ~.~ This is crazy. Really crazy. And my group has the least members, with a count of only 3. DSS PBL 2 is another major problem as well. Totally clueless. And goodness, I didn't even know I'll be having presentations for two days consecutively until I typed out these. =\

Like I always said to Ya Li, holidays aren't holidays until the end of the semester. Two weeks ain't too short, neither is it too long. Not much can be done in the first week as one of my clique will be away for a holiday. I reckon we won't be meeting out much in the second week as well. So, could I have the time for a day to be extended beyond 24 hours, please?

Short holidays are meant to kill us afterall.

While others will be enjoying their holidays (Christmas and New Year), I guess I'll be burying myself in projects. Really hope to clear projects (though I know it's impossible) during this holiday.

Oh, I just realised the deadline for this week's DSS tutorial is 31 December. I didn't know about it because I was on MC that day. And guess what, I'm just done with it. lolx. Made me rush for it. I thought deadline's next Monday. =\ But I should be glad to have one task down.

My table's getting messier each day. Bills pending for payments are piling on my table. Unwritten cheques, registration for fibre installation, etc. All are undone.

I'm so in need of time. =(

Before I end this post, I would like to thank Pei Er for agreeing to my date with Storm Warriors 2. My Aaron Kwok.. =D I supported him since 1993, heh! Wow, amazing 16 years! o.O But I still love my Raymond Lam more. =X Anyway, hope to meet out with the girls soon.

Many thanks to shifu for making it possible for me to score so well for my Auditing CA! =) That's the first time I did so well for theory. Hah. Seriously, I wouldn't have done it if it weren't because of my shifu. =)

Lunch-ed at Koufu at Cineleisure today, followed by Bolt the movie. Headed to Heeren afterwhich to look for my jeans. Already shortlisted two. Shall decide on one after I tried them out. Meanwhile, shall decide on the jeans to trade-in. But it shouldn't be a difficult task since all are unwanted ones. Haas!

Wanted to look for dear's shirt at Far East Plaza since it was still early. But I couldn't resist walking in to Plaza Singapura as we head towards Dhoby Ghaut station. Oh, and now I remembered that I had actually forgotten about something! Oreo cheesecake! Aww dear... =( I had wanted to look at the cheesecake but somehow I seemed to have forgotten after seeing those chocolates at Carrefour!

Oh, and that reminds me of something too. I chanced upon PC Bunk for the first time as we were walking down the stairs in the station. I was like, so excited for don't know what reason. ~.~

And thanks to dear, I've decided to resurrect my PSP. =D

Whew! Costing CA is over at last! =D But, sigh.

I was listening to Yes 933 yesterday morning. And the first song before I heard Cruz voice was the song which Cynthia had told me earlier on - Hins Cheung's "吻得太逼真". So it's the chinese version of "酷爱". No wonder it sounded so familiar. Anyway, I still remember I first heard of Hins Cheung a few years back when Yes 933 was introducing him as a newcomer. And the first songs I heard were "My Way" and "断点". But then didn't really heard of him some time later. Guess that was the period when he developed his career in Hong Kong.

Both Aringi and Azhar had sms-ed me yesterday, informing about the gathering with Mr Verma this Saturday. I so wanted to go badly lor. I really miss my friends and Mr Verma of course. That's why I told Azhar the other time that I might be able to attend this gathering. However, bad news are I'm having both Accounting and Taxation's CA next week. So I won't be able to make it for the gathering, yet again. Sigh. =(

Oh, Champions League final is over at last! Just as expected, Manchester United really won the match! Hahah! I'm damn happy lah, because Chelsea lost! =X I bet you must be overjoyed since Man United had won both Premier League title and Champions League. If only you were still around.. that'd be great.

lolx, what a day to start with.

Alarm went off at 6am. So as usual, I would sleep for 5 more minutes. The next minute I woke up, it was already 6.25am! Had to rush like hell lah. Went kitchen to get my towel immediately, but little did I expect the bamboo stick to fell onto my leg. ~.~ I was hoping that I wouldn't miss 334, but I still did. Sigh. But thankfully, 98 arrived within 5 minutes of my arrival at the bus stop. And I must really thank this bus captain. He was driving quite fast, which made it possible for me to reach the interchange before 7am. Then, as I was walking up the escalator, I heard the moving off of the train. The train towards Marina Bay had just left lah! Grrr...!! I was really worried that I might be late, but thankfully, I had reached Bishan at 7.50am. Phew! Else, she would come and have a talk with me already.

Reached classroom at 8.02am, and TG was ahead of me. When YL (the culprit of the scandal =X) saw me, she's like having the "wow, one comes after another.. ahem.." kind of look. ~.~

So first lesson was Costing. As usual, first lesson was always boring (for me, that is). Teacher had returned us the mock test paper which we did last Friday. Guess what, I got 86 marks! lolx! A lil disappointing though, as I had a slight careless mistake which cost me 3 marks. But overall, I'm quite happy with the result since I only got to know about the test the day before. Had MC for two days, and left the book at the locker. So when Pei Er informed me about the test on Thursday night, there's nothing I could do. Oh ya, I was overjoyed at the theory part. I had thought I would get 0 for the theory questions. lolx.

Then I had just sucked my lozenges when accounting teacher suddenly said she's giving us a 20/25 minutes break. Cliques decided to grab a bite in the canteen. So I followed them, too. I didn't eat anything of course, as I was taking lozenges. Can you imagine how pathetic I was, looking at each of them eating? ~.~

Costing CA will be coming real soon - this Thursday. I had wanted to study during the weekends. But the effect of the medicine had made me unable to do it. =( I need to get started man! I really need to score well this round, else I might not be able to make it to poly. So, bless me, alright?

Oh, a little side-tracking here. Fan had so coincidently phoned me when I was visiting the clinic on Wednesday. She told me she was meeting her friends and Bishan? But I didn't attend school. I so miss her can! x3 But I guess we aren't fated to meet. lolx. Just joking. =P Anyway, I didn't know she's still playing Maple. Fan, must jia you okay? Go ahead and chiong to 100! Remember that "crazy purewhitey"? LOL! I wonder if "cc please" still exists? Hmm.. I bet it still did, lah!

Wow, guess what? I wasn't at all late for the whole week. *claps* Instead, I reached Bishan earlier and earlier each day, like 7.34am, 7.39am and 7.31am on Wednesday, Thursday and yesterday respectively. That was an achievement okay. And despite taking my own sweet time strolling to school, I could still reach the school by 7.50am. So that is to say that I've nothing to do during that minimum of 10 minutes. ~.~

Gotta reach school an hour earlier on 26 May for the CA, as my lesson starts only at 10am on Mondays. Oh, and guess what? Our invigilator for Accounting CA will be Mr Tang, our Business Fundamentals' teacher. lolx. Imagine our (IQG's) reaction when we heard that? It's like almost the same reaction as that time when we learnt that Mr Tang might be teaching Statistics. LOL!

Anyways, it's really stress man. =( Will be testing on first four units of Costing. And I'm quite okay with the manufacturing accounts. But not theory for sure. The same goes for Taxation. I don't remember having any calculations-related thingy in the first two units? Sighs.

I'm so glad to have achieved something. That is, I actually jogged for one full round during S&W lesson for the first time since my first S&W lesson. Hahs. Gotta thank Pei Er for this. If she hadn't jogged with me, I couldn't have done that.

Oh, speaking of S&W lesson, I saw Jason driving while I was jogging. And SY had just droved in as well? Coolness. Was somewhat motivated by Jason. However, that only lasted awhile. Sigh. If this goes on, I doubt I could get a license in time for brother's car (for the one month when he's off to Australia for reservice). I seriously need some motivation man.

Earlier in the morning, I think I finished my accounting quite fast, and disturbed Pei Er all the way till she finished hers? Hahahs.

Didn't lunch with cliques as I realised that I've been eating either at school or at Junction 8 daily since school reopened. It's time to save up, particularly due to the fact that Mother's Day, Father's Day, mum, younger brother and aunt's birthdays are around the corner.

Ahh... The wait is finally over. After waiting for three weeks, the exam schedule is finally released. Exam begins on 8 Sep and ends on 10 Sep. Cool..! I know it's still early, but as you know, I'm always thinking far ahead. Hahs. Gotta start saving money now for the trip.

And you may think I'm crazy, but I seriously need to shed some weights off. Err, fats, I mean. ~.~ I wanna exercise and play some sports. But it's just too bad that no one's accompanying me. Boohoo!

Ah yes, Partnership's a real killer. Seriously. Just one careless mistake, and you could lose 10.5 marks. That's exactly what happened to me. Sighs. =( So yea, you really cannot afford to get careless for Partnership especially.
