He got me into tears just an hour ago, so easily.
I didn't expect such reaction from myself seriously. Haha.
Thanks so much, my dear. ❤ You'll never know how much that means to me. Really appreciate that! :)

Here's goodbye to the weekend once again. Oh by the way, my first "official" pay is in on Friday! Can you imagine the excited-ness in me? Seeked "advice" from brother and sister-in-law yesterday about the amount to give parents. Hehs. I thought what I had wanted to give initially was considered as a meager sum. Thank goodness, it was above what they gave. >.< And I'm able to reduce my expenses upon their suggestions.
*gonna give the money to them in a few minutes' time. gosh, so pai sehhhh. >.<*
I think my insurance policies and education savings are really taking a toll on me. :( Oh well, but these are the necessities of life. All I can do now, is to scrimp and save. Slowly climb up the rank and with the "better" pay, I could better repay Dad and Mum. :)
Well anyway, I've already started planning for the trip to Taiwan next year! Heh heh. Gonna draw up a rough one to estimate the expenses. It's too early - I know, I know. But I'm just someone who will start doing / planning something that I really have interest in, no matter how early it is. Hah. :x I think it's possible to do a less than $2,000 one. Hopefully will be able to go lower than that. :)
I have no idea what got into me today, but someone, I feel that my grammar really do sucks today! =\Labels: Ecstatic, Family, Holiday

Boarded a double-decker 334 this morning. Like, wow. o_O First time ever (in my life), that I've seen a double-decker 334. Heard it used to have in the past, but I've never seen before - or perhaps I did, but that was when I was really young? Haha. Well, sorry for the suaku-ness. I'm just amazed that I've seen it since it's a feeder bus. But well done, they finally came out with one. It's like, my "wish" has finally came true - used to hoped for a double-decker 334 during peak hours. If my guess was right, today's the first day that 334 provides double-decker service. Hehs. Lucky me, ain't I? :D
When I saw the double-decker bus initially, I thought it's either 99 or 185. However, when it drove past me, I saw "334". I was like, "huh? Did I see wrongly?". Haha.
Alrighty. Enough of the suaku-ness. Shall continue with my final report. Hopefully I can complete in time so I can finally enjoy the holidays. :)

The marathon yesterday was awesome! And yeah, I did it once again. Felt a sense of achievement; am really feeling great. :)
Went to the Standard Chartered Marathon with sis-in-law and Pei Er yesterday. Steady laaa, all can't wait for the next. Hah.
Brother was saying, "people started running already,
yet you all are still here posing for photo". LOL. :D
Pei Er and me after the run.
Am quite satisfied with myself, for beating my 2007 record of 2 hour 15 mins, and not mentioning going below my target of 1 hour 30 mins. Did it at the timing of 1 hour 23 mins 41 secs. :) Well, I really didn't expect myself to do that, because I didn't train for the marathon. And although it's a mere 10km, I felt it's more than enough already. I participated with the aim of challenging myself. And yep, I did it. :)
You're part of the reason I ran.
Did you saw that, Uncle Peter? This medal's for you. You've always loved running. Now that you could no longer do so, the task's mine. I know you must've blessed me up there, for being able to go below my target timing. And most importantly, for blessing me to complete the marathon safely. Thanks, Uncle Peter. ❤
Well, back to the marathon. Like always, I couldn't run with a consistent pace without stopping. Instead, my style's run > stop > run > stop. Past 4km and I saw a granny (in her 60's or 70's) in the opposite direction. And I was like,
what the hell, even the granny could run faster than me. lol. But something infuriating was, the number of water points were freaking pathetic. Worst is, I only saw one with 100 plus (well, perhaps I missed the others but from what I heard, water points are way too little).
Anyway, saw the ambulance passing by while I was on my 2km. Didn't know what happened until last night when Dad told me someone passing away during the marathon. Checked the news and learnt about a 21 year old half-marathoner collapsing after the completion of the marathon. He must've sensed something's not right during the run, but hanged on and continued running towards the finishing line. He was running for his dream. He did it, but at the price of his life. If my guess was right, it's so not worth it. :( Life's so precious. Why push yourself to the limits? Why don't you seek for medical help the moment you sensed something's not right? You may be unable to complete the marathon, but there's always a next time. Why risk with your life? :( Well, these are all my guesses and thoughts. Anyhow, your perseverance is something one can learn. Well done (I never imagined myself running a half-marathon, and never will I, because I know I wouldn't be able to do it, and I know my physique wouldn't be able to take it too), and Rest in Peace.
Well, to sum up, the SCMS 2011 is a serious flop to be honest. This reminds me of the Closed REPC which totally sucks. "Able to collect our race entry pack within minutes"? Oh yeah? My sis-in-law and I got ours in 1 hour 20 minutes. SMCS, way to go, seriously. -_-"
And yeah, my shoe was pronounced dead yesterday. :'( Damn you, Nike. You sucks. :( I barely worn that for less than 10 times and it died on me on my final 2km. The sole of my shoes just came off, and I couldn't tear it away, suffering the final 2km. For moments, I fear for my safety because I sensed myself in a situation where I'm likely to fall. But seriously, I don't think I'm running with so much force. How could the sole came off so easily? =\ Well, guess I should get myself a cheap sports shoe already. Spent so much also no use. =\

So, I was saying the other day about me being lucky.
Indeed. Hehs.
Had previously blogged about me missing all six of my internship choices, and eventually got into IRAS, one of which I'm kinda keen on, to intern with. So, the rest of the Circle Line will begin operation on 9 October, if I remember correctly? But no, that doesn't matter to me anymore. Simple reason - my placement has changed again. lol.
Received a call on 5 July from the internship in-charge, informing that I was offered a place in EY, like wow. First reaction was, "EY?!". Hah. Was really ecstatic,
lah. Had always wanted to intern with EY, but similar to IRAS, it wasn't given as a choice during the ranking exercise. First came IRAS. And now EY. Well, I was actually contemplating whether to seize the chance. WhatsApp-ed sis-in-law for advice, and she's all in, for me intern-ing with EY. Actually what's stopping me was, it'll mean forsaking the two girls if I took up the offer. But I'm glad I heeded sis-in-law's advice eventually because there'd been changes to their placement as well.
Am really excited, but kinda afraid at the same time. >.< But well, something to joy of. That is, EY's situated in Raffles Place - reachable via the green line. No longer have to worry passing by THAT freaking place. And it's nearer as well alright. ^_^ Oh, and there's quite a number of students intern-ing in EY as well; know quite a few of them, though don't know them that well. But hell, they're all guys. :( Worst of all, mates of two different groups are linking one of the guys and myself up. And now, they've all ganged up against me regarding that. Helpppp...!! That's totally impossible, alright? No one knows me better than yours truly.

I don't think there'll be anyone who'll be so happy that they failed to secure a place for the internship in all 6 of their choices. I'm an exception, lol. No Big 4, no GIC. But thank goodness, there's IRAS, one of which I'm keen in joining as an intern. Weird though, that it wasn't given as a choice during the selection. Anyhow, I'm just glad I'm being assigned this organisation. There's someone to accompany me too, yay! But one thing which I hate - having to pass by THAT DAMN PLACE during the work days, which I think will probably drive me nuts, very fast. D: Tsk. Anywayyy, I'm just so excited
lah! =D
Would the Circle line to Bishan open before I go for my internship, pretty please? >.<

Woo-hoo!
I passed my final theory test today! That's a load off my mind man. Hahs! Gotcha, Ivy darling! =P
Hmm, other than younger brother and Ivy darling, I don't think anyone else in my family knows about me taking the test. lolx. And brother actually didn't suspect me when I told him that I failed! ~.~
Was a lil worried initially because I couldn't answered several questions when I was doing my practice. But heck, I had worried over nothing. ~.~ The test started off rather well for me. And I managed to finish up all 50 questions within 15 minutes time. Hahs! I'm just glad that I managed to pass. It a pity, though, that we could only see if we passed or failed.
The next challenge will be tough though. =X Haven't decide on the practical test date yet, because I had only booked 16 lessons so far. I'm still wondering if I should go for the lessons during school days.
<>_<
>Oh by the way, I think I saw Qiuyi and Wei Kiat when I was about to enter the test room. Applying for PDL, I think?
Well, that's all, I guess. Shall stop here for today.
PS. Will reply tags tomorrow. =)
Edited:
Oh yeaaa... Before I forget, it won't be long before I can see
Bosco Wong's show on TV again! =))
