It's the 2/4 day of the Jubilee Weekend. Having seen many going out to enjoy over themselves, I can only see myself a pathetic one staying at home.
And when your FDW asked about it, you know you're not going to feel good.
Sometimes, I can't help but feel loneliness overwhelmed.
How I wish..
Sighs.

Here's goodbye to the weekend once again. Oh by the way, my first "official" pay is in on Friday! Can you imagine the excited-ness in me? Seeked "advice" from brother and sister-in-law yesterday about the amount to give parents. Hehs. I thought what I had wanted to give initially was considered as a meager sum. Thank goodness, it was above what they gave. >.< And I'm able to reduce my expenses upon their suggestions.
*gonna give the money to them in a few minutes' time. gosh, so pai sehhhh. >.<*
I think my insurance policies and education savings are really taking a toll on me. :( Oh well, but these are the necessities of life. All I can do now, is to scrimp and save. Slowly climb up the rank and with the "better" pay, I could better repay Dad and Mum. :)
Well anyway, I've already started planning for the trip to Taiwan next year! Heh heh. Gonna draw up a rough one to estimate the expenses. It's too early - I know, I know. But I'm just someone who will start doing / planning something that I really have interest in, no matter how early it is. Hah. :x I think it's possible to do a less than $2,000 one. Hopefully will be able to go lower than that. :)
I have no idea what got into me today, but someone, I feel that my grammar really do sucks today! =\Labels: Ecstatic, Family, Holiday

Went CDC with YL to visit PE earlier on. Glad that things are fine at her side. Hope she'll be freed from these soon. :)
While chatting, I popped up the topic on Taiwan trip again. Haha. >.~ This time round, it's us - the besties' first trip together. Hopefully everything goes smoothly. Can't wait!
I'm getting enthusiastic each time I spoke about Taiwan. Haha! Yeah right, as requested, I'm gonna be the organiser again. *stressed* Well, but I gladly take up the role because I know I'll get appreciated this time round, unlike the graduation trip this year that's dampened but that s.
Oh man~ I'm so so looking forward. Never mind it's only July now - our trip is in March 2013 tentatively. It's never too early to start planning. :)

Alright.. Back to reality.
Cut short my contract with my dearest Ernst & Young on 18 May 2012 to focus on the UOL Bridging exams at month end. Afterwhich, enjoying my "holiday" period till 12 July 2012. Haa. You might think I'm a serious slacker that I only decided to start work until now. Well, but no.
I've been a slave (okay, too strong a word, I know =X) to education for so long, started work (i.e., internship) unofficially last September which lasted through mid February this year. Rested half a month before going Taiwan for the graduation trip (which, well, sucks to the max). I think I'm "cheapening" myself, lol. A trip out should be for relaxation, isn't it? But I planned the trip so tight and packed with activities that I did not rest much at all. Well, I received a call from Jasmine while I was in Taiwan, informing me that they've gotten approval to extend my stay in EY, which will start the Monday after I'm back from Taiwan.
The flight back home was supposed to land on early Sunday, but due to the very bad weather conditions, our flight got delayed by a horrendous 12 hours. Okay, yes - I was fuming much that moment; will blog more about the experience next time. End up, the flight landed in Singapore at 5pm+ on Sunday. Tired max already, and I had to start work immediately the following day. No rest at all, can. ~_~
And so, I started work on 20 March (supposedly 19 March, but I had that terrible food poisoning again -_-), followed by part-time Bridging classes which started on 18 April. Having to juggle between work and studies right after a no-rest trip is no joke please. Thus, decided to call it quits on 18 May, to concentrate on the Bridging exams.
Then, decided to give myself a well-deserved one-month break before I become a slave to the working society. So, as you can see, it's definitely no excuse for the break alright.
Yup, back to the topic. I started work after a long search, on Thursday. Well, after two days of work, I realised this is actually not what I intended to work. Yes, sad but true. I want to do the real accounts - journalisation and such - please. Not what I currently do in that company. Argh. I hope this contract only last for 6 months, and SF will relocate me to elsewhere - in the central please!
While you're wondering where I'm currently working at.. Yes, it's freaking far, like 1.5 hours' journey - including all waiting time and walking distance. And yes, though I'm alighting at YCK station, but the street name's that freaking place I hate - at AMK. What an irony, ya? Grrrr...!!! When K from SF asked how comfortable I am with the locations during the first interview, I only told her not the east please - but I forgot to tell her I don't wanna work in AMK! Damnnnnn... Okay, I only have myself to blame. -_-
Anyway, was walking to the bus stop after work that day, and a sudden thought struck - how nice if we're still together.. because it's so near to his place that I could probably drop by occasionally after work. lol. Yes, I'm crazy. Seriously. I didn't know how this thought could even strike in the first place.
By the way, the location of the company is such that there's not much variety of food to choose from, no shopping centre around. If want more varieties, gotta take bus out to the (YCK) central. Oh, and you know what? The thought of going to the central makes me sian to the max can. Because all I could remember of the food there, was that curry chicken mee at the coffee shop (whatever you call that).
Arghhhh.. Damnnnn.. Why did you have to bring me there? And why, why do I even keep those memories? I mean, it's not that I want to keep those memories, but I just can't erase them away. Argh. I hate this. I really do.
Am lazy to check any possible grammatical errors today. :( Shall do it tomorrow, or soon.

With barely less than two days to go, my itinerary is still in the to-be-confirmed status. =\ Still couldn't decide on the last day. Find it rather hard to plan too, since the shops doesn't open that early, and I've only had three free days on my own. Nonetheless, hopefully what I planned turn out to be okay. With that, I would like to say "thank you" to Jess. Thanks so much for always making me feel appreciated. From the day I started planning till last week when we met out to confirm the stuffs, she never failed to make me feel appreciated. Haa. That silly girl, always thanking me for planning this trip single-handedly. :)
Whereas, the other two of them? Nah, I don't think they'll ever feel appreciated, especially that someone whom I've always loathed. Totally treat me as if I'm invisible. Like what the hell, seriously. And the other one? Well, it's always the same thing. I don't wanna start the story over and over again. 自己心知肚明 can already. Perhaps if I have to say, it's nothing but disappointments again and again.
Whatever it is, I can only say I've no wish to see that someone again after the trip. I've never intend to ask her along in the very first place. It's the other one who's kpo to ask her along. Oh wait, she's your beloved, ain't she? Both of you just can't be apart for that short period of time, ya? I really don't understand why you have to include her in every plans I had. That's something I really detest, alright?
Anyway, enough of those. I'm just still wondering if I should bring the camera bag along. It's really bulky and it definitely an obstacle. -_- But, if I don't bring it along, the camera would have no protection and as brother said, "don't complain if your neck aches". Tsk tsk. Well, I just hope I don't exceed the baggage limit when I return. =X

I'm feeling an even stronger homesickness already, with just less than three days to go. It'll be the first time I'm away from my family. Though it's not very far (like 10 over hours' flight), but still, I'll definitely think of them all day, especially my beloved grandma. I feel really bad having to leave her for so long, when I know I'm the person whom grandma always look for, apart from Uncle Peter. Now that Uncle Peter has left us, I feel all the more obliged to stay by grandma's side.
It'll be a 10-day trip again this time round. To be exact, this is my graduation trip. I've always had the thought that I should go for a graduation trip before I start work. This is so, because, once I start work, I know I'll be buried under nothing but work and work. Thus, this is the best time to enjoy before I "sell" (err.. okay, I'd actually meant "devote". lol.) myself to the working industry. >.<
I'm so sorry, grandma. Please take good care of yourself, alright? And please, Uncle Peter, please do look after grandma in my absence, alright? I know you've always done that, and will continue to do so. :)

Woke up early today for Uncle Peter's ritual. Thank goodness my eyebags aren't as heavy as yesterday's. >.<
Burnt the incense papers and I remember how fast and nicely spread it was when Uncle Peter's the one making it. Uncle Peter, it's been a lunar year since you left. You're so deeply missed.
Your best buddies were there today too. Did you see it? Really appreciate their coming. Although there were nothing they could do, but they still came. They just sat there and chat around with one another because only our family need to be involved in the ritual. Hope they won't feel neglected that we didn't really spoke to them. >.< All in all, thank you uncles for coming! :)
Was out for almost the whole day. Feel really bad that we've to leave grandma alone at home. No one to see and talk to, other than the maid. But I doubt the maid chatted much with grandma too. Am wondering if I made a bad choice on going for my graduation trip too. Because that will mean leaving grandma for 10 days. Brother doesn't chat with grandma. And with Uncle Peter's gone, I'm the only one who'll chat most with grandma. So ya.. :(
