Some photos taken at Gardens by the Bay. :)
This is part of the fireworks as mentioned. :(
Another one. I love this.. if only this wasn't being blocked. :(
I think this is the best shot I've taken that night! Simply love this! :)
So to sum up, yeah, my camera sucks definitely. :( And I came to realised, I ought to do something to the resolution. lol.

Spotted Pei Er in one of the photos taken by the Jurong Lake Run photographer!
Damn. She's one lucky girl can! We ran the SCMS last year, and she's got like 2 or 3 photos taken by them! And the recent Jurong Lake Run, there's one with her in it as well.
Whereas for me, I got none in both events. Awwww.. Why oh why...?? :(
Okay, I admit I'm that photogenic enough. Sigh. :(Labels: Photos, Running

08 July 2012
Did not participate in the inaugural Jurong Lake Run last year due to the not-so-nice running tee. But hey, I was there this year!
YOOHOO! The running singlet was not very nice (it looks almost exactly like the ITE's running singlet for SCSM 2007 - I suspect it's from the same apparel brand =X); I was actually aiming for the finisher's shirt instead. Hehe. =X Well the reasons for participating are - to challenge myself; and because I thought Romeo Tan might be there too!
Okay, he wasn't there eventually as he was filming on that day. :( Oh, and another reason for participating is pretty obvious, that is, the location is very convenient for me - right at Jurong East! Geez. :P
"Dragged" PE to accompany me for the run. Errr.. well, not really drag.. I did ask her very nicely okay. No force, no force. ^_^ I was worried she might not want to participate initially because she lives so far away. But thank goodness, she did agree eventually.
Alright, back to the actual day..
Because it was raining for six consecutive days, I was really afraid the rain might continue for the 7th day. I happened to wake up when brother went to market, and guess what, I heard the sound of heavy rain! Was thinking at that moment, "it's gone.. there goes my first JLR." Back to sleep, and it was still raining when I woke up. Then I remembered, the best way to know if the run will go on, is to check Facebook. Went in, and was assured that they will "make sure the run will go on smoothly". And so, I went to wash up and such.
Walked towards the bus stop to head for JE interchange, and ran for 98 because I thought I was running late (I was aiming for 334, but I missed by a mere
30 seconds!). Then, upon reaching the interchange, PE wasn't there yet. Sigh. Made me used up a bit of my energy so fast. :( lol. =X
I thought the road towards the Science Centre was closed. Argh, damn. Had I know earlier that it's not, I would've taken 198 there straight. :(
Anyway, thank goodness the rain has stopped before the run starts. Had to run with care though, as the road were wet and slippery. Was really afraid I might fell and injured myself. Thank goodness, I completed the run safe and sound. Have absolutely no idea how I fared, because unlike SCMS, we couldn't check our results. But I guess should be a few minutes more than SCMS 2011, but less than 1hr 30 mins. This is considerably good already, considering the fact that I
did not train at all. :)
And because of not training, I'm suffering once again - for 5 days. Looks like lesson was not learnt yet. =X
Oh by the way, I thought this is really lame. When I said that, I meant it really is, okay. We were asked to select the size of the finisher's tee during registration. However, upon collecting the tee after the run, I was told, there's no more size XS. Like, wtf? Hello, you told us to select the size, yet there isn't any left for us? Then in the very first place, might as well don't ask, no? No wonder there's always complaints about the finisher's tees during the running events. I mean, shouldn't you put in every effort to make sure we get our rightful stuffs? There's no indications on our running bibs, or other forms of indications on the size we chose. How are you then to know the size we've chosen?
This is Singapore. Don't you know there are a lot of
dishonest people around? -_- Okay, shan't say further.
Alright, keep the cool.. Signing off this post with myself in the finisher's tee. :)

Found Twelve Cupcakes at last! Heh heh.
So I was having this thought of looking for the shop today. Thank goodness it wasn't that hard to find, and ta-da, I got myself their April's special for Tuesday - Mudslide. It was the very first of such cupcake that I had. And mind you, the raves weren't for nothing. It tastes really great! The cupcake was soft and melt "almost" instantly into the mouth. And coupled with the toppings (yeah, it's my favourite chocolate!), it just tastes heavenly! But $3 for a cupcake is just so not me. Honestly speaking, I find paying $3 for a cupcake "rather" expensive. But okay, what you pay is what you get. Well, so it's actually quite worth it,
lah. >_<
While we're at this, I'm actually quite tempted to try the cupcakes by my friend. By appearance, my friend's cupcakes actually looked more appealing than Twelve Cupcakes'. I'm actually more tempted to try my friend's than Twelve Cupcakes. lol. Anyway, my friend's shop is located at so far away from me - at a not very easily accessible place. Sighs. Hopefully she'll open an outlet somewhere near me (and is easily accessible) soon.
Now, these two cupcakes shops are really tempting me much - so much so that I can't wait to try making one myself! >_<

Hoho! Happy Lunar New Year! ^_^
Well. Been kinda lethargic since the past week. My sleep has yet to be recovered as well. x_x Hopefully (yes,
hopefully) I'll be able to recover my loss of sleep on Saturday. Don't thwart my plan please. >.< And afterwhich, gonna pia my final report already. Hopefully I'll be able to maintain my grades. *pray hard hard*
Okays, I'm tired already. Shall let the photos do the talking.
My first attempt in red. ^_^ Feel that it kinda suit me actually (I'd actually had the thought that it'll look too red on me, but hey, it's not bad afterall!). Anyway, the nails were badly done though, because I'd actually done them late Sunday night, where I barely had an hour of sleep in the evening just after the 30 hours plus battle. x_x So I kinda ignore the flaws actually. =\
This dress is ❤! Thought it's gonna be deemed a lost mail, but thank goodness, it reached me eventually. This dress is simply too good to resist. So can you imagine how anxious and worried I was, waiting for the dress each day after it was mailed out? >_< Anyway, this is photo was taken on the first day of the CNY. Well, the make-up aren't that visible in the photo, but hey, I look great okay! Heh heh. =X Okay, the only flaw was the very-heavy eyebag I had. Tsk. It ruin the photo totally (all thanks to my lack of sleep)!

Wow, I've just realised I've been blogging everyday in 2012. Haa.
❤
I don't post up my photo very often. In fact, it's very rarely. Thus, when I post one up, you should know it's because I have confidence in myself uh. Well, for this, it's because I think I look really cute in this photo. *getting a bit 臭美 recently. oops.* I love my rebonded hair (though it doesn't make much difference except for the frizzy part) with this fringe's length. I've to admit getting the fringe short was a mistake initially (I didn't want it so short, but the hairstylist trimmed and trimmed, and it ended up so short =\). But hey, it looks quite nice, isn't it? lol.
Realised I've got heavy eyebags too. Urgh. I'm so lacking of sleep! It looks really ugly can. I didn't used to have it, but what now? Seriously sad to the max. =\
Anyway, I feel that my recent posts make no sense at times (referring to the grammar). Well, been getting lazy to do a double-check nowadays. Still as descriptive though. I guess many might feel that my posts are very descriptive too. Well, that's because I wanna have the moments captured as detailed as possible since I don't have a good memory. And so, when I look back, I'll be able to relate better.
Alrights, shall end my post here. Have to go to bed real soon because we'll be making a trip to the temple tomorrow for some rituals thingy for Uncle Peter's first anniversary (lunar). That being said, hope Uncle Peter's doing well up there. With love. ❤

Well..! It's just a couple of hours away from a brand new year. Realised there're quite a couple of non-updated stuffs hanging over. Alrights, I'm gonna blog them one and for all. Don't wanna leave anything behind in 2011. :)
Photos in this post, and year-end review in the next. :)
Had this petite-sized mee for my dinner with sis-in-law when we went to catch Edward. Sis-in-law had actually warned me beforehand if I wanna get more stuffs. But even then, I seriously didn't expect it to be so petite in size! I was like, "wow, this for dinner?". lol.
Saw this Christmas tree on our way to Marina Bay Sands to collect our marathon run pack. Further, snapped this on our way there as well. The journey to MBS was an enjoyment. Didn't know it's so beautiful at night time. Definitely a great place for chilling and dating. Heh heh.
The crowd during the closed race entry pack collection. We'll be back! :D
It's my first Aston's after sooo long! Had this near my work place. Yum yum!
My second set of BB cream. :)
Oh, and I almost forgot about this 'Cure' thingy that I bought more than a year ago. Man, I feel I've got so many skincare products all of a sudden. Like unfinishable. lol.
Some snapshots on the last day of the original Jurong East Bus Interchange. It's gonna go under some modifications projects. :( Felt really sad when I got the news about this. Afterall, I've been using the interchange for so long, and this is especially so since the internship starts. Lotsa memories over there. Such strong feelings. :( Very very strong feelings too, during my internship period.
(messy + repetitive photos. Shall do up a nice one tomorrow.)
Elephant-durian. It's sooo cute can?! Took this from ORQ South Tower. Really can't stand its cuteness and I went in to snap this specifically. :D
Pineapple cookies. :) My first bake since last September. Glad that my skills are still up-to-standard.
'So tzai' one'. Haha. Thought this phrase was cute. And so decided to snap it.
New sports shoes. :) No choice, had to get a new pair because the rubber thingy at the outer-bottom of the previous pair came off. :( Was contemplating between the asics and New Balance ones. Irritating brother went on to complain about me taking such a long time to decide between two pairs of the sports shoes. Eh hello. It was a tough choice okay. I'm looking for a good and comfortable pair for long-term usage. But on the other hand, the other pair is more gel-cushioned - more comfy, but of course, comes with a 'good' price as well. A difference of $50. Definitely a tough choice okay. I know you're rich. Can just splash the money away without much thinking. Sorry, but I can't. I don't wanna waste money, thus I'll usually tend to think further ahead. But anyway, epic phail can. Referring to brother. Because he got shot back by his friend. Muahahaha! :))

Ferrari bag from Shell. Dad's really sweet. *touched* The moment he knows he can get a free Ferrari bag from Shell (after spending a certain amount), he asked if I wants it. Thanks, Dad. <3 Together with the bag, Dad also went to get the desk calendar from the printing shop (as requested by me). Heh heh. So nice of him. :D
Alrighty. Guess those should be blogged, are blogged.
And it's the time of the year again. Shall do some year-end sum-up and reviews at the next post.
Kind of a messy post. Didn't have time to consolidate the photos properly. Shall do that when I have the time to do so.Labels: Food, Loves, Marathon, Memories, New Year, Photos, Reflection, Skincare

The marathon yesterday was awesome! And yeah, I did it once again. Felt a sense of achievement; am really feeling great. :)
Went to the Standard Chartered Marathon with sis-in-law and Pei Er yesterday. Steady laaa, all can't wait for the next. Hah.
Brother was saying, "people started running already,
yet you all are still here posing for photo". LOL. :D
Pei Er and me after the run.
Am quite satisfied with myself, for beating my 2007 record of 2 hour 15 mins, and not mentioning going below my target of 1 hour 30 mins. Did it at the timing of 1 hour 23 mins 41 secs. :) Well, I really didn't expect myself to do that, because I didn't train for the marathon. And although it's a mere 10km, I felt it's more than enough already. I participated with the aim of challenging myself. And yep, I did it. :)
You're part of the reason I ran.
Did you saw that, Uncle Peter? This medal's for you. You've always loved running. Now that you could no longer do so, the task's mine. I know you must've blessed me up there, for being able to go below my target timing. And most importantly, for blessing me to complete the marathon safely. Thanks, Uncle Peter. ❤
Well, back to the marathon. Like always, I couldn't run with a consistent pace without stopping. Instead, my style's run > stop > run > stop. Past 4km and I saw a granny (in her 60's or 70's) in the opposite direction. And I was like,
what the hell, even the granny could run faster than me. lol. But something infuriating was, the number of water points were freaking pathetic. Worst is, I only saw one with 100 plus (well, perhaps I missed the others but from what I heard, water points are way too little).
Anyway, saw the ambulance passing by while I was on my 2km. Didn't know what happened until last night when Dad told me someone passing away during the marathon. Checked the news and learnt about a 21 year old half-marathoner collapsing after the completion of the marathon. He must've sensed something's not right during the run, but hanged on and continued running towards the finishing line. He was running for his dream. He did it, but at the price of his life. If my guess was right, it's so not worth it. :( Life's so precious. Why push yourself to the limits? Why don't you seek for medical help the moment you sensed something's not right? You may be unable to complete the marathon, but there's always a next time. Why risk with your life? :( Well, these are all my guesses and thoughts. Anyhow, your perseverance is something one can learn. Well done (I never imagined myself running a half-marathon, and never will I, because I know I wouldn't be able to do it, and I know my physique wouldn't be able to take it too), and Rest in Peace.
Well, to sum up, the SCMS 2011 is a serious flop to be honest. This reminds me of the Closed REPC which totally sucks. "Able to collect our race entry pack within minutes"? Oh yeah? My sis-in-law and I got ours in 1 hour 20 minutes. SMCS, way to go, seriously. -_-"
And yeah, my shoe was pronounced dead yesterday. :'( Damn you, Nike. You sucks. :( I barely worn that for less than 10 times and it died on me on my final 2km. The sole of my shoes just came off, and I couldn't tear it away, suffering the final 2km. For moments, I fear for my safety because I sensed myself in a situation where I'm likely to fall. But seriously, I don't think I'm running with so much force. How could the sole came off so easily? =\ Well, guess I should get myself a cheap sports shoe already. Spent so much also no use. =\

15.06.10
Went BBDC for final theory test and yay, I passed again! =D Was arranged a seat facing the wall, sitting alone. So emo right? lolx. But other than the emo part, the arrangement was kinda alright for me because I can have full concentration.
Haven't seen pig pig for a week due to common test, hence meet up after I finished the test. However, he was late due to some matters. But this is just as well, because Pei Er so happened to phone me while I was on the phone with him. Was wondering why Pei Er phoned me and initially thought she wanna ask how's my theory test, lol. Met up with Mei Bao and her at Jurong East together with pig pig (they so coincidently took the same train). Mei Bao passed me a Couple Lab's bag and told me it was the parts of our ring, only to realise it's a birthday gift for me when I opened up. It was really sweet of them. Thanks girls, I really like the gift and appreciate it. =)
Went Jurong Point with pig pig after that for some shopping. Poor pig pig had to wait aside while I shop for something. Sorry, pig pig. =( Saw a pair of shoes at Mondo, but my size ain't available. Had to wait for two days or so if I want, but I reckon I won't be going there anytime soon because I feel kinda
sian with the travelling. =X Pig pig suggested going FairPrice Xtra to try our luck for Ben & Jerry's Strawberry Cheesecake ice-cream and to my surprise, it's available at last! Been searching high and low for it for so long, and finally it's available. Thanks, pig pig! =D
16.06.10
Went POSB to activate my DBS debit card, as well as checking my present debit card. As expected, the DBS debit card was cancelled due to long-time inactivation. Then, told the staff about resetting the pin for my present debit card. However, it's sad to say that it cannot be resetted and I've to re-apply for a new one. =( Opted for the DBS card and applied for it on the spot. And now I gotta wait for at least two weeks before it reaches me.
17.06.10
It's the day of the year. I was actually feeling disappointed and emo-ing initially because I thought pig pig won't be celebrating my birthday with me. Then he phoned me after the clock strikes 12 and told me that he's already told me on Monday that we'll be going out today. But seriously, he didn't make clear his stand, that's why I got emo-ed. =X
Met up with pig pig and goodness, he's so good-looking with that outfit! =D Haven't seen him that good-looking for quite some time already. Hehs. *I know you're smiling as you read this =P* So to start off, pig pig got me a cake and I brought it back home before heading out. Watched The Karate Kid and it was not bad. Dinner after that at Seoul Garden, which I've been craving for, for quite some time already. Tried cooking the food for the very first time and it was fun. Hehs.
Then, pig pig was really clever and got me fooled totally. Told me that his stomach ain't feeling good, hence went to the toilet. But he actually went to get a cake for me. ❤ He was kinda disgusting with what he first said to me after he's back though. -_- But sad thing is, it's only after I finished eating the cake that I realised that we've forgotten to take photos. =( Anyway, that aside, pig pig's really sweet. =) Now I know he actually bear in mind whatever I told him. =X
Thanks dear, I really appreciate it. Muacks! ❤
I'm really happy this birthday because I've got my loved ones - family, besties and dear - celebrating with me. Much appreciated, with loads of love. ❤
Didn't take photos today, except these three which were taken at Seoul Garden.
First two plates of food (top plate - chicken).
Pig pig cooking. Yaa, he only cooks his chicken! =\
And that's me cooking.
(Directly translated from English) I can enter kitchen okayy. Not bad right? =P
18.06.10
Back to school for project today. As usual, I left the battery of my laptop at home. And it's only after alighting at school that I realised I actually forgot to bring the charger along. What a blur-ry me! -_-" Luckily the three of our laptops are of the same model, hence we could share the charger around and Ya Li lent me her charger. Really thankful for that. Else, I wouldn't have done much today. =X
You're really different after we patched. =) But, I really hope it's not transitory. I still feared and am really afraid of returning to the past.Labels: Birthday, Blur, Loves, Movies, Overjoyed, Photos

To start off with the first entry for March, I shall present to you the very recent photo that I took.

<3I suppose this is the best photo that we took that day, on 01 March. Dear looks really great in this photo. =)
Oh, and my favourite song's playing now dear! =D
*I guess there's a displaying problem or something. Those white dots on dear's hair ain't supposed to be there. =(Labels: 01.08.2008, Photos
